BoneHead Deluxe is a morbid little Color Scheme for Greg Landwebers' interface altering Control Panel, Kaleidoscope. Bonehead Deluxe comes with a (More or Less) complete set of Folders and custom Trash and Alert Icons. To use it, simply drop it into the Kaleidoscope Color Schemes folder in your extensions folder. You can use it right away, but to see the trash icons and folders immediately you'll need to restart your Mac! Unless you've got version 1.7.3 or better of the Kaleidoscope Control Panel. Then they appear right away! If you don't want your folder icons replaced, use Bonehead Lite, which is also included.
The theme of Bonehead is, well...... Bones. The windows are skeletal, the scroll bars are skeletal, even the buttons are skeletal! Be sure to check out the "Ghost" thumbs and the progress bone.. er, bar. I've also included two desktop pattern clippings. You should definitely use one or the other to get the full effect of the Scheme! Just drag and drop them onto the window of your Desktop Patterns/Pictures Control Panel.
I would also highly recommend using K-Scope to colorize the finder windows. Set the red, green, and blue values in the Color Picker to 54630. Or just pick a nice medium grey.
Bonehead is E-Mail Ware. Please give it to as many people as possible! Just make sure this Read Me file and the patterns go with it! If you like it (or not), send me some mail!! See below for details............
I'd like to thank Scott Lahteine for Slur's Starter Kit. Without it, BoneHead wouldn't exist! He created the circular shapes of the alert icons. I uh... changed the contents of the alerts however........... Visit Scott at http://world.std.com/~slur/ and check out his stuff! With Res Edit, Slur's Starter Kit, and the documentation that comes with K-Scope 1.7.x ( thanks Greg!), YOU TOO can create ridiculous Color Schemes! I hope you like mine!

Bonehead looks a little odd with Double Scroll...also, due to conditions beyond my control, some active Finder Info Window text (such as the About This Computer...info.) is black on black . Hard to read! ; - ) If you make the Window inactive ( click outside of it ) the text turns gray and is readable! Sorry.... :-(
The author (me) makes Absolutely No Claim as to the fitness of this software. I've checked it out thoroughly, but if anything bad happens as a direct or indirect result of using Bonehead, the author (myself) expressly disclaims any and all responsibility !
